Raúl Peralta is a fifty-something who thinks he can dance like Tony Manero, the character from Saturday Night Fever that turned John Travolta into an icon. He trains a group of apprentices and brags about having ideas for the choreographies, to open a show on a sleazy bar, in a 70s Santiago de Chile, during Pinochet's dictatorship.
